New Jersey car accidents: 3 injured in recent crash

On Behalf of Fishman & Fishman, LLC | Apr 3, 2017 | Car Accidents |

A recent auto accident in New Jersey that injured three people is being investigated by law enforcement officials. Three vehicles were involved in the wreck, two of which were legally parked at the time of the collision. When car accidents are believed to result from negligent behavior, according to state laws the victims may pursue compensation for their losses. While few details have been released about this particular incident, the laws regarding compensation may apply in this case.

According to reports, at approximately 3 p.m. on March 30, the driver of a car, for reasons unknown, left his or her lane of traffic and collided with two vehicles that were parked on the side of the road. The drivers of all three automobiles were injured in the wreck and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Their current conditions are unknown, but it is believed that none of the injuries suffered were life-threatening.

At this time, authorities have not released an official cause for this incident. Neither have they commented on whether criminal charges will be filed against the driver deemed responsible. The investigation into the matter is still active.

Whether car accidents result in minor or severe injuries, victims of such events may suffer physical impairments for life. Along with these come emotional and financial consequences that can be extremely damaging. In this case, the victims may pursue personal injury claims in order to seek monetary damages for any losses they have sustained. If their cases can be successfully litigated in a New Jersey civil court, financial relief may be awarded.
