Motorcycles represent the epitome of vehicular freedom to many people. The collision took place in Secaucus in the early evening. According to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, a sedan and motorcycle collided as they both tried to merge onto the same roadway. The sedan, driven by a 52-year-old man from a neighboring state hit the motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man from Clifton, New Jersey.
The collision’s initial impact threw the motorcyclist from his motorcycle. According to the sheriff’s report, both the motorcyclist and his motorcycle slid around 300 feet and crossed three traffic lanes. He was rushed to a nearby medical center with serious injuries. He is currently in stable condition.
