Residents of New Jersey can attest that they spend a great deal of time in their cars. A 34-year-old New Jersey woman is currently facing drunk driving charges as well as a number of other charges in relation to a drunk driving accident she caused recently. According to the authorities, the woman fled after causing a hit and run that occurred on the Garden State Parkway. The local authorities were alerted about an erratic driver at around 10:28 a.m. that morning.
Shortly thereafter, the police were able to locate the vehicle in question. After a preliminary investigation, the woman was arrested for DUI. She received an additional charge for DUI with a minor passenger and four other charges: reckless driving, having a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and operating an unregistered vehicle, according to the local police.
