New Jersey car accidents: Two airlifted out after crash

Nothing is more heart wrenching than finding out that our family members have been injured. Two families are holding vigils for their loved ones’ today after a car crash left them seriously injured. The victims were airlifted from the accident scene and taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden New Jersey. Sadly, car accidents such as this happen all too frequently.

While the crash remains under investigation, New Jersey State Police claim a large commercial truck traveling northbound failed to yield the right of way at a busy intersection. Authorities believe but could not confirm that the truck collided with a westbound SUV and an eastbound pickup truck at the same time. The impact caused those vehicles to become lodged underneath the large truck.

The female driver of the SUV and a passenger in the pickup truck were among the most seriously injured. While the pickup truck driver received moderate injuries, the male driver of the commercial truck was not injured at all. Several area paramedics and ambulance companies responded to the scene along with Jeffstat and Cooper 1 medical transport helicopters. No updates about the conditions of the victims were made available on Wednesday.

It is a tragedy when someone is injured in an accident. The physical, emotional and financial recovery will be long and tedious and could impact these families for a long time. When faced with the aftermath of car accidents, victims in New Jersey may seek the expertise of a personal injury attorney to help guide them through this difficult time.
