Two young people in New Jersey are dead and another two were left injured following a head-on crash Thanksgiving morning. This incident, which is said to have occurred in Winslow Township, was the result of one of the drivers crossing over the center line. Car accidents such as this one happen quite frequently. When they do, the victims or — in the event of fatality — their surviving family members may have legal recourse.
According to Winslow police, a 23-year-old male was driving his vehicle westbound on Williamstown Road when, for reasons unknown, he crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a car in the eastbound lane. The driver of the impacted car was injured in the wreck and transported to an area hospital. The current condition of this individual is unknown.
The driver deemed responsible for the crash and a passenger in his car both died at the scene. Another passenger in that same vehicle suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to a medical facility for care. At this time, authorities have not indicated what may have led to the collision. The investigation into this matter is still on-going.
