Recent car accidents in New Jersey: 3 injured in bus accident

Many New Jersey residents know that car accidents tend to increase over the summer. Due to high school and college-aged students being out on summer break as well as many families hitting the roads for vacation, there are simply just a higher number of drivers on the roads. However, sometimes car accidents can occur in unexpected places.

A recent motor vehicle accident took place in Orange in early July. The accident, which involved a bus, resulted in three people being injured, one of them critically. According to the authorities, a bus lost control and struck a car as well as a pedestrian before crashing head-on into a bank.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus swerved out of control very suddenly. When it collided with the male pedestrian, the man was thrown about 15 feet while the car was spun around about 90 degrees due to the force of the collision. Three people were taken to a local medical center and one of them was in critical condition, according to the authorities.

When individuals in New Jersey are injured in car accidents, the victims sometimes decide to file civil claims against the driver who is determined to have been at fault in the crash. When successfully navigated, a claim of this nature can sometimes result in monetary compensation, which is often a means to help the victim return to his or her life as prior to being involved in the accident. Contacting an attorney who is experienced with handling personal injury claims is often the first step taken so the individuals affected are made aware of the options available to them.
